Joran van der Sloot’s extradition to the United States to stand trial on charges he attempted extort the mother of missing Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway is underway, according to multiple news reports.
ABC News on Friday was first to report that the extradition could happen Saturday, citing unnamed sources.
