When you reach the height of stardom that Thomas Rhett has, you expect there to be a few haters. But, you don’t expect them to be your own wife!
TR and his wife Lauren have been doing a video series “Laur’s Takes” on his social media where he asks her questions about his music catalog. Past episodes have included trying to get her to name songs off past albums, and his album titles (neither went well LOL!) This time, he asked which of his songs she likes the least, and she had an answer ready, really quickly.
“What’s the one? That I’ve told you and [Chris] Kimmerer since day one, ‘Can we just pull it?'” she said.
Rhett replied, “‘Make Me Wanna?'” and Akins replied, “Yeah.” Thomas couldn’t believe his wife still didn’t like the song when so many fans loved it and commented about it, saying, “It’s a bop!”
