July 2nd, Southern Living featured The Market at Pepper Place in their list of the best farmers’ markets in the South, highlighting its success.
Southern Living commended Birmingham for its ability to transform industrial spaces into thriving community centers, as seen with the repurposing of the former Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant into the Pepper Place commercial and retail development in the 1990s. The Market at Pepper Place always draws a large crowd. Southern Living also mentioned several noteworthy vendors at The Market at Pepper Place, including Hinkel’s Bakery, Magic City Mushrooms, Postell Farm, Knight’s Farm, Birmingham Knife Sharpening, and Blind Dog Biscuits.
