It’s no surprise Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen are taking over the charts. But not only are they dominating the country charts, they’re taking over the mainstream charts as well.

Morgan has been on a record-breaking run with his already #1 hit single “Last Night,” which has remained at the top spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for 10-straight weeks now, and Luke’s cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” has been speeding up the charts, well on its way to becoming a #1 hit.

Now, “Last Night” sits at #1 on the Billboard 100 Chart, while Luke sits at #4 with “Fast Car,” making it the first time two country songs have been in the top five in more than two decades.

The last two songs to accomplish this feat were Lonestar with “Amazed” and Faith Hill with “Breathe,” which were both in the Billboard Hot 100 top five in the year 2000.
